Customers using our Alarm Modems with MPI-Interface (Hx7x) have to look carefully for a
regular connection of the MPI-Interface to the MPI-Network or S7 CPU using Profibus connectors, as described in the
hardware manual chapter 4.10 !
An
improper connection (e.g. using a 1:1 serial cable + blue adapter) will damage the MPI interface, with the result of losing the warranty !
