However, a few words are allowed to us:
Up to now the biggest task for our development department was the requirement to create an easy program surface for end users of a complicated system like the Tixi Alarm Modem. We are pretty sure that we have managed this with the version 2 of the software TILA.
At every time the user receives information to the possible settings in the "Details" window. False inputs are on-line indicated immediately. The modern GUI makes properly fun!
With TILA2 you can:
- Access PLC systems through the Alarm Modem incl. password protection
- Create alarms by SMS, fax, email and pager on the basis of changes to built-in IOs or connected PLCs
- Extend the alarms by acknowledges and cascadings
- Switch IO and PLC variables by SMS or phone calls
- Status report requests
and much more.
Unfortunately, the programming of such a comfortable software is very time-consuming. Hence, the TILA2 does not cover yet the complete function set of the Alarm Modems. Functions like data logging, the web server or calendar functions must be programmed nowadays still in the TiXML Console TICO.
However, we work hard on the takeover of this functions to the TILA2.
