As from today the Hutline (HM,HG) Alarm Modems will be shipped with the new
Firmware-Release 2.2.74.0 .

If required, a firmware update may be requested via email to
tixi-support@tixi.com.
An update is only possible via direct RS232 connection to the modem. Project data and logged data will be deleted.
An update is recommended for all users of Alarm Modems with MPI-Interface (HM71,HM76,HG71,HG76), because the stability and performance is again increased a lot.
Please note that the firmware of the built in MPI-Adapter has to be updated too (Firmware 3.26, request via E-Mail).
Furthermore this update is recommended for users of scheduled functions (e.g. data logging via scheduler) because of a bugfix regarding leap year calculation.
For all other users:
"Never touch a running system". 
If you have no problems with firmware 2.0.0.0 or 2.2.12.0, an update is not necessary.
