Hi,
Quick question please:
- is the ethernet card mentioned in the Reference Manual and extension card for an HG21 modem or ethernet port is built in into another model of your modems?
Thank you in advance

HExx devices are Tixi Alarm Modems with built in ethernet port.
In example HE21 is an ethernet device with 2 serial ports.
I/O extention modules (XPxx) can be used with every Tixi Alarm Modem Hx.

Hello,
Thank you very much for your fast and detailed reply.
We recently purchased 1 TiXI HG21 and we are currently developping a solution based on this.
HG21 was out choise due to the GSM and 2COM ports included.
So I understand that HExx are not also GSM enabled?
Thank you.

TO be more specific in the reason why I am askinf these questions:
- we are trying to implement some kind of redundant connection mode to the remote device so we have chosen GSM as the primary as it is the most reliable and were checking the Internet connection as a backup.

Yes, at the moment we offer only HE (ethernet only) or HG (GSM only).
HGE would be possible on special customer request (depends on the amount of devices).
How many devices will you need for your project ?

HGExx + HMExx are sample products for special purposes.
They are not released to the general public - yet used internally at Tixi.Com.
They do not offer routing from modem to Ethernet but may be used
for many other purposes. Let us know your requirements via email
and we can tell you, if HGE can be used for your needs.
